Facilitator Milestones Explained

How facilitator bonuses can affect your total during eligible program windows.

What a milestone actually rewards

Milestones are the program's way of rewarding balanced participation. Instead of just counting raw points, each milestone can require a mix of skill badges, arcade games, and lab-free content. Hitting the mix unlocks a flat bonus that gets added to your total when that program window is active.

There are four ordered tiers — Milestone 1, Milestone 2, Milestone 3, and the Ultimate Milestone. Each one is a superset of the previous; you cannot skip a level.

How to plan for the next milestone

The tracker shows the requirement summary for each milestone directly in the picker. When you're inside a cohort, treat the next milestone's requirement as a checklist: fill the smallest gap first, then move to the next content type.

A common mistake is chasing only one activity type. In practice, milestone-style requirements usually reward a balanced profile, so finish the category where you have the smallest remaining gap first.

The Bonus Milestone

The Bonus Milestone is a season-specific opt-in that layers a flat point boost on top of your milestone tier. Eligibility rules change per cohort — sometimes it requires a specific number of no-cost labs, sometimes a themed challenge. Only enable the checkbox once you have confirmation.
